New Delhi:In a shocking revelation, Delhi Police have unravelled the dark underbelly of self-styled godman Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati, alias Parth Sarathi, whose alleged sex racket spanned from local ashrams to the glitzy shores of Dubai.

WhatsApp chats recovered from his seized phones paint a chilling picture of exploitation, with the 62-year-old accused of trafficking young women to wealthy Arab sheikhs.

Arrested on September 28 from a dingy hotel in Agra’s Taj Ganj after two months on the run, Chaitanyananda’s empire of deceit crumbled under digital evidence. One brazen chat shows him pressuring a student: “A Dubai sheikh wants a sex partner — do you have a decent friend? If not, send a classmate or junior.” When she refused, he persisted relentlessly, exposing his international dealings. Police suspect he lured aspiring air hostesses with fake job promises, amassing resumes and biodata while monitoring victims via a HIK Vision app linked to ashram CCTVs.

The godman’s lavish setup — a suite-like room with luxury amenities — belied his predatory tactics. He honeytrapped women with gifts like jewellery and watches, addressing them infantilizingly as “baby” or “sweetie” and coerced compromising photos for blackmail. Three sisters — Rashmi, Kajal, and Shweta (the institute’s dean)— allegedly aided his schemes, while he withdrew over Rs 50 lakh using forged documents post-FIR.

Raids yielded two fake passports, UN and BRICS visiting cards, three mobiles, an iPad, and assets worth Rs 8 crore, frozen by authorities. Now facing charges of harassing at least 17 students at his Sri Sharda Institute, the case has escalated to an international probe, with Delhi Police collaborating with global agencies to unmask the Dubai sheikh. This scandal underscores the perils of blind faith, turning a beacon of spirituality into a nexus of crime.
