New Delhi: Keeping social distancing in mind, the aviation regulator, Directorate General Of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Monday, urged airlines to try and keep the middle seats vacant. If that is not possible, the passengers should be provided with ‘wrap around gowns’.
Briefing about this development the DGCA said, “Attempts should be made to keep the middle seat empty to the extent possible….. If the middle seat is occupied due to high load , the flyer should be provided with a “wrap around”, reported HT.
Domestic flight services in India \resumed on May 25, after being halted for around two months since the nationwide lockdown was imposed to stop the spread of COVID-19 .
