Delhi Police Officers Visit Sagar Sharma’s Family, Arrange Video Call

New Delhi: Delhi Police officials visited the house of Sagar Sharma, who managed to infiltrate the Lok Sabha chamber on Sunday, breaching Parliament security. They arranged a video call between Sharma and his family members.

His mother, Rani Sharma, expressed relief after speaking to her son. She said, “We spoke to Sagar for two minutes and inquired about his health. We were happy to talk to him.” She added that he appeared to be fine and there was no need to worry.

Rani Sharma stated that she did not observe any signs of regret or remorse in her son’s demeanor. She defended his actions, saying, “We believe he did nothing wrong, so he has no regrets.”

The mother also addressed rumors about Sagar Sharma’s marital status and child, clarifying that the information being circulated was false. She further disclosed that the Delhi Police had taken the family’s Aadhaar cards, photographs, and a cutter that Sagar had requested them to submit.

Sagar Sharma’s sister, Mahi Sharma, also expressed her emotions upon seeing her brother during the video call. “When the Delhi Police spoke to Sagar yesterday, we started crying after seeing him. He said he was fine and there was no need to cry,” she said.

Mahi Sharma believes that her brother is not worried about the situation. She added that the investigating agency took their Aadhaar cards, photographs, and a cutter that Sagar had asked them to submit.

The Delhi Police had earlier discovered four bank accounts in Sagar Sharma’s name, raising suspicions about his financial activities. However, Rani Sharma clarified that her son only had one active bank account and that he had purchased and later sold an e-rickshaw several years ago.

The investigation into the security breach is ongoing, and the Delhi Police are working to gather more information about Sagar Sharma’s actions and motivations.
