New Delhi: A marriage from Haryana has become a matter of much discussion on social media platforms because of the sheer height difference between the bride and groom. Nitin Verma, the 3.8-foot groom who married his bride, Arushi, who is 3.6 feet, has made the news recently, and people are calling them a match made in heaven. The photos of their reception have gone viral on social media, and the couple is garnering all kinds of attention in India, as Arushi hails from Punjab while Nitin is from Haryana.

A local Dharamshala in the cantonment area of Haryana hosted the couple, both 25, for their reception on April 13. The audience was also treated to some breakout hits, with Arushi and Nitin  crooning a few numbers together at the reception. The duo’s chemistry left everyone spellbound as they danced to hit Hindi songs such as Tere Sang Yaara and Kala Chashma.

Nitin and Arushi married on April 6, but their reception party grabbed all the limelight last week. The couple had just been together for two weeks when they decided to marry. Although this all happened in such a short period, their wedding was very cultural and traditional.

Nitin’s brother-in-law played an integral role in the couple’s union. According to Nitin’s father, his wife’s niece, Nitin’s sibling Khushboo, and her spouse Gagan, Arushi was found at a digital facility adjacent to a sprawling estate in Ropar, Punjab. This is where the families met for the first time and started discussing potentially being a match.

At first sight, Nitin’s sister selected Arushi for Nitin, and then they started dating. Nitin is a 12th-pass science factory worker, and Arushi has a bachelor’s degree. My mother has always been worried about my height being short and said that my height would hurt me, but Arushi told me that I leave everything to God. Both families could not be happier for the match, and they are sharing their love through social media.
