Patna: The Bihar BJP Core Group has undoubtedly declared that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will lead the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the forthcoming 2025 state assembly elections, thereby putting an end to doubts regarding possible leadership changes in the coalition.
In a significant meeting aimed at formulating the party’s organizational strategy, BJP State President Dilip Waiswal asked the leaders to assemble for their upcoming assembly elections under the “double-engine” leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. “‘The Core Committee unanimously agreed that Nitish Kumar’s strong leadership will be the face of the NDA in the upcoming elections,” Jaiswal stated.

The announcement is a strategic move to give a united front in front of the elections, and the BJP is held by the strong bond of the partnership of Modi and Kumar in the state’s job narrative of development. Political analysts note that this early clear statement about the leader could help the alliance deflect the kind of speculation that most often wrestles the coalition’s politics in the state.
The get-together also deliberated on organizational groundwork for the next three months, with a major focus on strengthening bottom-up coordination among the alliance partners. The NDA in Bihar, which is formed by five parties, wants to present a coherent campaign strategy as the time of the 2025 election draws nearer.
