The latest rollout is a strategic move to aggressively compete with major American technology giants like OpenAI and Anthropic in the rapidly expanding global tech space. The company is stepping up its efforts to establish a stronger foothold amid a fiercely competitive domestic and international market.
The newly released version 0813 of the V4 Pro brings massive improvements specifically targeting artificial intelligence agent capabilities. The advanced model is now accessible to developers and enterprise users across application programming interfaces, web platforms, and mobile applications. Interestingly, the official launch comes after a highly unusual testing phase. Recent independent evaluations revealed that the cheaper V4 Flash model unexpectedly outperformed an earlier preview version of the V4 Pro. This surprising result prompted the company to introduce significant capability upgrades before releasing the final premium version.
Along with the new flagship model, DeepSeek has completely revised its operational and business strategy by increasing access prices for both the V4 Pro and V4 Flash models.
