New Delhi: The central government of India plans to launch 100 new Sainik Schools to strengthen basic education quality across the nation. At Vidyadhiraj Vidyapeetam Sainik School’s annual day in Alappuzha, Kerala, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh announced the educational plan on January 22.
The government leader pointed out that this new move aims to raise educational outcomes while helping the nation grow. In addition to creating new schools, the government opened doors for girls to join Sainik Schools, making these military schools more welcoming for everyone.
Each district will host a Defence Ministry school that admits personnel from remote locations and different cultural backgrounds. Since India wants to be self-sufficient in many areas, including health and defence, our education system urgently needs a makeover that supports whole-child development.
According to Rajnath Singh, a full soldier is not just good in war but also remains disciplined while staying dedicated to their mission and performing selfless service. He explained that Swami Vivekananda, Adi Shankaracharya, and Raja Ravi Varma displayed these qualities while transforming various aspects of Indian society and faith.
The government’s plan to build more Sainik Schools aims to support talented students while giving girls a high-quality military-focused education. The new development will yield permanent enhancements to India’s educational system.
