Central Teacher Eligibility Test On Jan 31; Names Of Test Centres Here

New Delhi: The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), which was postponed due to administrative reasons, will be held on January 31 next year at 135 centres across the country. The test was scheduled to be held on July 5, 2020.

In a statement, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), which conducts the CTET, said it has been requested by a large number of candidates for change of option for the examination centre as they have shifted their places due to COVID-19.

Keeping this in view, it has been decided to give one time chance to the candidates for corrections in their option of city from which they want to appear in the CTET. The candidates can make online corrections from November 7 to 16.

The statement said, “Every effort will be made to allocate the candidates their choice of places. But, if the situation arises, they may be asked to appear at the test at any other city outside their choice.:

The new examination cities are Lakhimpur, Nagaon, Begusarai, Gopalganj, Purnia, Rohtas, Saharsa, Saran, Bhilai/Durg, Bilaspur, Hazaribagh, Jamshedpur, Ludhiana, Ambedkar Nagar, Bijnor, Bulanshahar, Deoria, Gonda, Mainpuri, Pratapgarh, Shahjahanpur, Sitapur and Udham Singh Nagar.
