Bareilly: During a Bareilly Sunday dialogue event, Sunil Bansal, who leads the national organisation for the BJP, advocated for One Nation One Election (ONOE) while stating that parallel elections could eliminate nepotism and expedite Indian development programs. Bansal declared at the event that regular elections cause both financial hardship and administrative stagnation for the nation.

Bansal expressed his belief that uniting Lok Sabha with state assembly elections would simplify administration and spare public funds from unnecessary expenses. Multiple elections subsequently slow down development projects and waste away public funds. The ONOE system will accomplish faster development while safeguarding public money, thus enabling governments to concentrate on their enduring mission, according to his assessment. This system would transform dynastic political conditions by developing opportunities for junior leaders to provide political security based on their position.

Bansal attacked West Bengal’s Mamta Banerjee administration with the statement that citizens strongly dislike corruption alongside violence and criminal activities. The upcoming elections will witness major political change in Bengal because state residents are demanding new leadership, according to Bansal, who observes growing public opposition to Mamata Banerjee.

The minister characterised the Pahalgam terrorist attack as catastrophic and declared the central government’s dedication to eliminating terrorism from Jammu and Kashmir. The government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi takes essential steps to eliminate terrorism under his presidency. People from every part of the nation fully endorse strong punitive actions against responsible parties, as he declared. Regarding threats to the Sambhal, Mahant Bansal stated that the BJP organisation would protect the individual by taking proper action against any concerning persons.

The ONOE proposal progresses through a Joint Parliamentary Committee review process, as the BJP uses it as their central point in their national campaign. The government uses Bansal’s comments to advance its goal of obtaining broad public support for reforms that maximise efficiency and governance capabilities.
