Mumbai: The curtains fell on the 19th season of Bigg Boss on Sunday evening, with television heartthrob Gaurav Khanna emerging as the triumphant winner of the Salman Khan-hosted reality show.
In a nail-biting grand finale, Khanna clinched the coveted trophy and a whopping ₹50 lakh prize, leaving fans in a frenzy and social media abuzz with celebrations.
The 15-week journey, which kicked off on August 24, 2025, under the theme Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar, saw 18 contestants battle it out with intense drama, emotional highs, and strategic gameplay. Khanna, celebrated for his role in Anupamaa, won hearts with his dignified approach, steering clear of controversies while forging strong bonds with housemates like Pranit More and Ashnoor Kaur. His sincerity and calm demeanour earned him the top spot, and viewers showered him with votes.
Farhana Bhatt, the fiery actress from Laila Majnu, fiercely contested Khanna, ultimately finishing as the first runner-up. The finale, graced by stars like Kartik Aaryan and Sunny Leone, was a spectacle of emotions, with host Salman Khan visibly moved while paying tribute to the late Dharmendra.
Pranit More, Tanya Mittal, and Amaal Mallik completed the top five, each leaving a lasting impression.
Khanna’s victory, coupled with a car win earlier in the task, cements his status as a fan favourite. “This is for my fans who believed in me,” he said, as Salman handed him the trophy amid thunderous applause.
