New Delhi: With farmers across India eagerly awaiting the 22nd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme, the government has urged beneficiaries to verify their names in the updated list to ensure they receive the ₹2,000 direct benefit transfer.
Reports suggest preparations are complete, and the upcoming instalment could be credited before Holi, though no official date has been announced yet.
Under the flagship scheme, eligible small and marginal farmers receive ₹6,000 annually in three equal instalments of ₹2,000 each, credited directly to their bank accounts. The beneficiary list is refreshed before every payment cycle, and names can be excluded due to issues like incomplete e-KYC, document discrepancies, or other eligibility lapses.
To check if your name features in the list and confirm eligibility for the next payout, follow these simple steps on the official portal:
Visit pmkisan.gov.in.
On the homepage, click on the ‘Beneficiary List’ option.
Select your state, district, sub-district, block, and village.
Hit ‘Get Report’ to view the complete village-wise beneficiary list.
Search for your name to confirm inclusion.
Farmers can also track status, payment history, and complete e-KYC via the same site or the PM-KISAN mobile app. For those facing online hurdles, visiting the nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) or district agriculture office is recommended, where officials can assist with verification using Aadhaar and land documents.
If your name is missing despite being eligible, approach the local revenue or agriculture department promptly with supporting papers to rectify the issue and avoid missing the ₹2,000 credit.
This proactive check ensures no farmer is left behind in this vital support programme aimed at boosting rural incomes.
