Mumbai: BCCI Declares A Mind-Boggling Rs 58 Crore Cash Prize For Team India After ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Victory.
Regardless of whether they played or not, BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia announced that all 15 team members would receive Rs 3 crore. At the same time, players like Arshdeep Singh, Rishabh Pant, and Washington Sundar, who missed out on game time in the tournament, could gain more benefits from this tour. Gautam Gambhir, the head coach, will also receive a reward of Rs 3 crore, the same amount as the players.
Assistant coaches Ryan Ten Doeschate and Abhishek Nayar, batting coach Sitanshu Kotak, bowling coach Morne Morkel, and other support staff members — physiotherapists, team doctor, and strength conditioning coaches — will be rewarded Rs 50 lakh each.
Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar will also receive Rs 30 lakh, and the remaining selection committee members Rs 25 lakh each. BCCI officials who travelled with the team in Dubai, including the media manager and liaison officer, will also be getting Rs 25 lakh apiece.
Besides BCCI’s reward, the team also received around Rs 19.45 crore from the ICC as the official tournament prize money. This is an exclusive pool of pricing that will be divided between players; each member of the current squad will receive around Rs 1.43 crore.
India defeated New Zealand by four wickets to clinch their third title in the Champions Trophy final in Dubai on March 9. And now, under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, the team has completely dominated the tournament, winning five out of five matches, including crucial ones against Bangladesh, Pakistan, and New Zealand (all three in the group stage) and Australia (semi-final).
