The Karnataka Milk Federation ( KMF ) presently gathers, around 100 lakh liters each day with 60 lakh liters used. This results in an excess of 40 lakh liters for expanding into the market.
Chief Minister Siddhārāmāiah recognized the difficulties involved in transporting milk across a distance of, over 2,500 kilometers, which takes 50 to 54 hours of travel time.
