New Delhi: There has been another case of suicide at the farmers’ protest site.
This time, a 52-year-old farmer from Haryana allegedly took his own life on Sunday at the Tikri border in Delhi. The body has been sent for postmortem, Times Now reported.
The Congress, who have been going hammer and tongs at the Centre in support of farmers’ demand of repealing the contentious agriculture laws, wasted no time in sharing a suicide note which they claimed was written by the deceased farmer.
Several suicides during the farmers’ protests – which has been on for over 70 days at different points of Delhi border — have been reported.
