Mumbai:Mukesh Ambani’s son and India’s richest businessman, Anant Ambani, is a big animal lover. A few days ago, in a gesture that has found great favour among netizens, Anant, who is all set to turn 30 soon, showed his kindness in a brilliant manner.

Anant is currently making a 140-km journey to Dwarka from Jamnagar by foot. On this trip, he spotted a truck taking 250 chickens to a slaughterhouse. Upon observing their condition, Anant swiftly halted the truck and hurriedly approached the person in charge, persuading him to purchase the chickens at a price double their market value. “We will take care of them there,” he said after getting them freed. Cradling one of the rescued chickens in his hands, he resumed his journey, chanting, “Jai Dwarkadhish.” The incident has since gone viral on social media.

He is also involved in wildlife and animal saving through an initiative called “Vantara,” which rescues, rehabilitates, and treats animals. The centre has rescued more than 1.5 lakh animals belonging to over 2,000 species. The central government recently awarded him the “Prani Mitra National Award” for his efforts in this direction in animal welfare.

On the fifth day of the pilgrimage, Anant paid a visit to the Vishwanath Ved Sanskrit Pathshala near Vadatra village and and then sought blessings from its founder, Maganbhai Rajyaguru, by touching his feet. Later, he was received at the Phulliya Hanuman Temple in Khambhaliya by Bharatdas Bapu, who wrapped him with a ceremonial shawl and presented him a photo of Lord Dwarkadhish; Anant took it as a blessing and a mark of goodwill from a holy man.

Anant launched on March 28 from Moti Khavdi in Jamnagar and will celebrate his 30th birthday on April 10 in Dwarka. To not be disruptive to others, he has decided to travel mostly at night.

Anant said during his journey, “I always remember Lord Dwarkadhish before starting anything in life. I tell the youth to trust God, for where He is, there is no worry.
