Italian luxury carmaker Lamborghini on Thursday launched the latest Huracan Evo Spyder in India at a price of ₹ 4.1 crore (ex-showroom, India).
Lamborghini also inaugurated its newest showroom in Mumbai.
The Huracan Evo Spyder is a soft-top convertible that can lower the roof in 17 seconds while travelling at speeds up to 50 kmph.
The new car is 120 kg heavier than the regular coupe version.
It is powered by 5.2-litre V10 engine that produces 631 bhp at 8,000 rpm and peak torque of 600 Nm at 6,500 rpm. It is mated to a 7-speed Lamborghini Doppia Frizione (LDF) dual-clutch transmission and is all-wheel-drive.
The Huracan Evo Spyder does 0-100 kmph in 3.1 seconds, which is just 0.2 seconds slower than the coupe version. 0-200 kmph is achieved in 9.3 seconds, which is just 0.3 seconds slower than the regular one. The top speed is the same 325 kmph.
It has 20-inch Pirelli P Zero tyres 305/30 section tyres at the back and 245/30 section tyres at the front.
The interiors feature a 8.4-inch capacitive touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay along with voice command system and a dual-camera telemetry system with a high-capacity hard disk. The seats can be leather, Alcantara, or Carbon Skin, an innovative carbon fibre material exclusive to Lamborghini.
Internationally, the fuel efficiency is rated as 14.2 litres per 100 km or approximately 7 kmpl.
