Bhubaneswar: Smart City Bhubaneswar will soon get a wider coverage of free Wi-Fi services across major places, Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs Durga Shanker Mishra informed on Sunday.
The minister took to Twitter to announce this. He said that major landmarks and institutions in the city will now be covered by Wi-Fi services and this would help transform the urban landscape here.

In November 2018, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had unveiled a city wide Wi-Fi project “BhubaneswarMe Wi-Fi” by Bhubaneswar Smart City Limited (BSCL). It earmarked 500 Wi-Fi hotspots in the city with a service speed of 2mbps.
