UN Consultant Among Four Indians Killed In Ethiopia Plane Crash

Shikha Garg, a UN consultant attached with the Environment Ministry, was among the four Indians killed in the Nairobi-bound Ethiopian Airlines plane crash on Sunday.

Taking to her official Twitter handle, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj put out an appeal for help in contacting her family.

All eight crew and 149 passengers were killed as the Boeing 737 crashed minutes after an taking off from Addis Ababa at 8:38 am.

Garg was on her way to attend a United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) meeting.

The other Indians killed in the crash are Vaidya Pannagesh Bhaskar, Vaidya Hansin Annagesh and Nukavarapu Manisha.
