Indian Railways and Air India decided to make Women’s Day memorable by handing them complete charge to power and manage some of the most sophisticated and cutting-edge aircraft like the Dreamliner and next-generation locomotives hauling passenger trains.
It goes without saying that women have proved their mettle in handling heavy-duty machines with elan, be it on land or in the air.
Several Air India flights on both domestic and international routes are being operated and managed by women only — right from the pilots on board and cabin crew to the ground-handling staff. These include the Delhi-San Francisco flight, one of the longest haul flights in the world at 16 hours.
All women crew flights:

These stations include Begumpet (Secunderabad Division), Vidyanagar (Hyderabad Division), Chandragiri (Guntakal Division), New Guntur (Guntur Division) and Ramavarappadu (Vijayawada Division).
