Mumbai: Ranveer Singh’s blockbuster spy thriller Dhurandhar 2 has made Indian film fans proud by breaking into the list of the top 10 highest-grossing films worldwide in 2026, and it achieved this in just 20 days.
According to Sacnilk, as of April 7, Dhurandhar 2 is now the 10th-highest-grossing film worldwide this year, earning over ₹1,637 crore ($177 million). What makes this even more impressive is that the film reached this milestone without being released in China, a market that usually boosts box-office numbers for films that succeed there.
The film is directed by Aditya Dhar, who also made the original Uri: The Surgical Strike. It features a strong ensemble cast, including Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, and Sara Arjun, alongside Ranveer.
In India, the film’s net collection has crossed ₹1,033.37 crore, and its total gross is now over ₹1,237 crore. Internationally, it has earned more than ₹400 crore, all without being shown in China.
Most of the global top 10 films are from the US and China. China’s Pegasus 3 is at the top with ₹5,898 crore, and Hollywood’s Project Hail Mary is next with ₹3,889 crore. Dhurandhar 2 holds the 10th spot, ahead of several Hollywood films.
The film is quickly approaching the ₹1,700 crore mark and could become the first Indian movie to reach that number without a release in China. tv9hindi Right now, Aamir Khan’s Dangal, which was released in China, is still the only Indian film to cross ₹2,000 crore worldwide.
