Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan on Saturday offered heartfelt condolences to the innocent victims of the 2008 Mumbai attacks, the recent Pahalgam terrorist strike, and the latest bomb blasts in Delhi, while saluting the courage of security forces and their families.
In an emotional public address, the actor said, “My humble tribute to all the innocent lives lost in the 26/11 terror attacks, the Pahalgam terrorist attack, and the recent bomb blasts in Delhi. My respectful salute to our brave security personnel who attained martyrdom while protecting the nation.”
Extending his reverence to the families of the martyrs, Khan continued, “On behalf of the entire country, I salute the families of our martyrs. I salute the mothers who gave birth to these brave sons from their wombs, the fathers for their spirit, and the life partners for their extraordinary courage. They fought on the battlefield, but you, too, fought with unmatched bravery and valour.”
The actor concluded with a defiant note: “To all of you, I extend my heartfelt salute.” This country, India, is known for its unwavering resilience. No one has been able to stop us, defeat us, or snatch our peace from us. “As long as our real superheroes – the men in uniform – are guarding us, it is not just difficult to remove peace and harmony from our nation; it is impossible.”
