New Delhi: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has unveiled a specially designed pilgrimage package for devotees desirous of visiting seven of the sacred 12 Jyotirlingas in the coming month.
The fully organised tour features rail travel, meals, safe accommodation and even easy EMI payment options, making spiritual travel accessible and hassle‑free.
Set to depart from Rishikesh on November 18, the 11‑night/12‑day “Bharat Gaurav” style journey covers some of the most revered Shiva temples in India. Highlights include visits to Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, Omkareshwar Temple in Madhya Pradesh, Trimbakeshwar Temple in Nashik, Bhimashankar Temple in Maharashtra, Grishneshwar Temple near Aurangabad, Somnath Temple in Gujarat and Nageshwar Temple at Dwarka.
The package is available in three tiers: Economy, Standard and Comfort. The Economy option starts at ₹24,100 per person, with a child fare of ₹22,720. The Standard category comes in at ₹40,890 for adults (₹39,260 for children), while the Comfort class is priced at ₹54,390 per adult. Each includes rail travel, stays in non‑AC or AC hotels depending on the category, meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and local sightseeing.
Furthermore, recognising budget constraints, IRCTC has introduced an EMI payment option — travellers can book now and pay in easy instalments (for example, approx. ₹847 per month). Government employees may also avail of LTC (Leave Travel Concession) benefits under the scheme.
Bookings are live via the official IRCTC Tourism portal or through its office in Lucknow. Devotees are advised to ensure timely registration — seats are limited — and to carry valid identification and travel documents ahead of the journey.
With this departure, IRCTC is not just offering a train journey but a comprehensive spiritual experience — combining comfort, convenience and devotion on one inclusive track of faith.
