New Delhi: In a deeply moving spiritual discourse delivered in Vrindavan, Param Pujya Rasik Sant Shri Hit Premanand Ji Maharaj illuminated the transformative power of silence and solitude in the pursuit of divine connection.
Addressing a gathering of seekers and devotees, Maharaj Ji urged followers to detach from worldly distractions and immerse themselves in the chanting of the Divine Name (Naam Jap) and heartfelt devotion to Lord Shri Krishna.
Maharaj Ji’s teachings centred around the idea that meaningless chatter, gossip, and external disturbances create restlessness in the heart and hinder spiritual progress. He emphasised that true inner growth begins when one consciously chooses silence and solitude, allowing the mind to focus solely on the remembrance of God’s virtues.
“Naam Jap is not just a practice; it is the lifeline of the soul,” Maharaj Ji declared. “When the heart is free from worldly noise, it becomes a temple of divine bliss.”
He reassured devotees that sincere surrender to the Lord brings an unparalleled sense of joy and fearlessness (Abhay), enabling one to face life’s challenges with equanimity. Maharaj Ji explained that even amidst suffering, a devotee who remains focused on God experiences a unique spiritual bliss that transcends pain.
Drawing inspiration from saints like Kabir Das and Narsi Mehta, Maharaj Ji illustrated how unwavering devotion and divine remembrance can elevate one beyond egoistic conflicts and external circumstances. He encouraged devotees to accept both happiness and sorrow as divine gifts meant to aid their spiritual evolution.
Importantly, Maharaj Ji dispelled the notion that past sins are a barrier to divine grace. “Even those with a sinful past can attain the Lord’s blessings,” he said, “if they engage in sincere devotion and Naam Jap in the present moment.”
He cautioned against superficial ritualism and stressed the importance of cultivating a personal, direct relationship with the Divine. According to him, the path of bhakti is not about outward show but about inward surrender — offering one’s thoughts, breath, and life at the lotus feet of Shri Krishna.
In his concluding message, Shri Hit Premanand Ji Maharaj inspired listeners to embrace the silent path with patience and faith, promising that those who do so will witness divine miracles in their lives.
