Srinagar: After Operation Sindoor’s victory, Pakistan felt frustrated and attacked civilians and holy areas along the LoC. An Indian Army official in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch area says India responded quickly and efficiently, as Indian troops destroyed Pakistani military positions and ended their bold actions. As a result of the attack in Pahalgam, India’s response in Balakot showed it would use precision and strength to fight terrorism. This caused serious damage to Pakistan.
A Resolute Response to Provocation
As far as Operation Sindoor is concerned, the officer said it strongly opposed Pakistan’s cowardly actions. According to him, “They shot their bullets, and we guarantee we will respond without pause.” Instead of reacting on the spot, India carefully planned a major strike to wipe out Pakistan’s terrorist network. The reason for Operation Sindoor was a terrible attack by terrorists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on April 22, 2025. Terrorists murdered tourists not armed with weapons, asking them about their religion before killing them, which greatly upset the nation. Adopting a position of absolute rejection, India did whatever it could to eliminate terrorism. India and Pakistan agreed to cancel the Indus Water Treaty and expelled each other’s nationals. On May 6-7, a special operation was carried out to eliminate nine camps belonging to infiltrating groups in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The strikes resulted in the death of approximately 100 terrorists and the destruction of significant terror infrastructure.
Despite launching drone and missile strikes, Pakistan did not succeed because India’s Akashtir detected and destroyed their threats before they hit the mark. Because of the failed advance, both combatants agreed to a ceasefire arranged by foreign mediators on May 12. Despite this, India closely watches Pakistan’s behaviour at the LoC.

A Clear Message for Pakistan
Operation Sindoor redefines India’s approach to cross-border terrorism.
