Bagalkot: The family of Abhishek Cholachagudda organised a joyous event in their Bagalkot home to cheer up their teenage son when he failed all his subjects on his Class 10 boards. All guests who attended the celebration at the family home on Saturday assembled to motivate Abhishek towards another effort after his academic failing in the exams.

The Basaveshwar English Medium School student Abhishek achieved 200 marks out of 625 in his Karnataka Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examinations that were declared on May 2. Instead of giving him negative responses, his parents chose to acknowledge his attempt while uplifting his morale. The parents purchased an encouraging cake along with sweets, which they shared among guests to bring a celebratory spirit. According to his father, his dedication to the exams remained constant despite his unsuccessful results. His recent party provided him with cheer because now he is ready to dedicate more effort to his work.

Guests at the motivating gathering told Abhishek how to get ready for the upcoming SSLC supplementary exams that would start from May 26 through June 2. Abhishek managed to thank his family deeply for their continuous backing even though he suffered memory difficulties after a childhood fire incident. Their support acted as a motivator that helped him overcome his feelings of disappointment. He declared that he would pass all of his subjects during his following try.

Children from this family receive excellent approval from their school community and educational circle in Bagalkot for their supportive approach instead of imposing heavy academic demands on their students. The circumstance demonstrates extraordinary parenting by keeping children’s health as the top priority. A teacher who attended reported to others that failure serves only as a waypoint toward achievement. Some Indian parents participate in this event to demonstrate their changing approach toward building resilience during board examinations.

Abhishek prepares for a second chance to pass the SSLC exams because his parents’ celebration showed him increased motivation and reassurance of their unconditional support.
