Hyderabad: A four-and-a-half-year-old child became trapped in a lift and perished in a building in Hyderabad. The family is heartbroken about the tragedy; the cops are looking into it. Following a recent occurrence in which a six-year-old child perished after being caught between an elevator and a wall, this is the second such incident in the city in a month.
The most recent incident happened on Wednesday night in a four-story private hostel. The father of the child, whose parents are from Nepal, has been working as a security guard in the building for four months. When local people and the mother of the boy found him caught in the lift, they tried to bring him to the hospital, but he was proclaimed dead upon arrival.
According to the preliminary inquiry, the infant was crushed, and the lift became caught between the first floor and the ground. Based on the family’s complaint, the police launched a case and are looking at whether a technical lift problem or negligence caused the disaster. To find the reason for the catastrophe, the authorities are looking into CCTV footage and questioning citizens.
