MP: AAP Office Locked After Alleged Rent Arrears In Bhopal

Bhopal: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has suffered a crushing defeat in the Delhi Assembly elections, which are now beginning to impact other states. Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, has locked the party’s state office due to nonpayment of rent.

Related News This is AAP’s main seat in Madhya Pradesh, and the state office of the Aam Aadmi Party is in the Subhash Nagar area of the district. But the owner of the office haltingly locked it down, claiming he had not received rent for four consecutive months.

Vivek Ganglani, the property owner, said he was against some of the practices carried out on the premises. He expressed his dissatisfaction with the office’s storage of liquor boxes and other activities. AAP members allegedly threatened Ganglani when he demanded he vacate the office, Ganglani further claimed. Final Solution! He also asserted that he had not paid the rent or electricity bills and threatened to file a police report.

Singrauli Mayor Rani Agarwal, who won municipal polls, heads AAP’s Madhya Pradesh unit and the party’s debut in the state. Following the incident, she described it as a misunderstanding and said she would go to the site on March 5 to take a look and speak to the media. Other Democratic Party operatives have declined to provide their opinions.

The development comes in the backdrop of the AAP suffering from heavy electoral losses in Delhi, with many of its senior leaders losing the Assembly elections recently.
