After the case was registered, Atishi went on social media to say, “The Election Commission is something else! Model Code of Conduct is followed only among us. What punishment has been given to Ramesh Bidhuri’s family members who openly broke it? I have lodged a complaint, they called the police, and they registered a case against me!”

Chief Minister Atishi had gone to lodge a complaint about the sons of BJP leader Ramesh Bidhuri intimidating the people and affecting the elections. Atishi and her entire convoy were around when this happened.
