Mumbai: Ratan Tata died on 9 October and the will shows how warm the legendary philanthropist was to people he knew. His long-term cook, Rajan Shaw, and butler Subbiah, who worked for him for over thirty years, have been bequeathed in his will. Shantanu Naidu another long standing associate of Tata and considered as a protégé has also been included in the will. The stake Tata held in Shantanu’s startup “Goodfellows” has been relinquished, and the educational loan Naidu took to study abroad has been forgiven.

The Residue of Ratan Tata Business Wealth

The greater majority of Ratan Tata’s net worth is held in Tata Sons and other Tata Group enterprises the balance, which is the lion share will be donated to the Ratan Tata Endowment Foundation (RTEF).
