New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit Russia to attend 16th BRICS Summit between October 22-23. The summit, that is being held this year under the auspices of Russia, has invited heads of states and the Prime Minister of India has received the invitation sent by Putin. This summit’s theme for this year can be summarized in words like “Building forward Better Together: Towards Multilateralism for a Post COVID-19 World”.
On Friday, in the statement that was released by the Ministry of External Affairs, it was made clear that apart from the main discourse and discussions of the BRICS summit, Prime Minister Modi was also scheduled to have one on one meetings with other leaders from the member countries of the grouping.
