19 High-Profile Figures Join BJP, Vow To Back Modi’s Vision For India

New Delhi: In a significant boost to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), 19 distinguished personalities from various walks of life joined the party on September 11, 2024. The new entrants include former ambassadors, high-ranking military officials, and senior civil servants. The induction ceremony was held at the residence of Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, who welcomed them into the BJP fold during a special membership drive.

Taking to social media platform X, Hardeep Singh Puri shared a picture of the 19 new members, expressing his excitement over the party’s growing support base. “Party idea family is expanding, countrymen walking on the path of the nation’s progress, nationalists joining BJP!” he wrote, highlighting the enthusiasm of those embracing the BJP’s vision for India’s future.

A Wave of Support for BJP’s Ideals

Minister Puri further emphasised that these 19 prominent figures were motivated by the “revolutionary decisions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which have brought about sweeping changes in the country.” He added, “These distinguished personalities have decided to join BJP to work towards India’s progress under PM Modi’s leadership.”
