NewDelhi: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that the government has allocated over ₹3 lakh crore for schemes benefiting women and girl children. This significant allocation aims to enhance the welfare and empowerment of women across the country. Industrial workers will also benefit from dormitory accommodation facilities, providing them with better living conditions.
The Centre has proposed an outlay of ₹26,000 crore for various road projects in Bihar as part of the 2024-25 budget. Additionally, the government will set up an airport, a medical college, and sports infrastructure in the state to further boost its development.
