Two More Suspects Identified in the Parliament Smoke Scandal Case

New Delhi: In connection with the Parliament Smoke scandal case, two additional suspects have emerged. One is Sai Krishna, a software engineer from Karnataka’s Bagalkot town, and the other is Atul Kulshrestha, a Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh, resident.

Police in Delhi have questioned Sai Krishna, an alleged friend of Manoranjan D., while Atul Kulshrestha is currently undergoing interrogation. Atul Kulshrestha is approximately 50 years old, unemployed, and has four children.

The interrogation of the suspects is based on CCTV footage. Police are examining their recent conversations on social media, where both individuals were actively engaged. Atul Kulshrestha is particularly interesting to investigators due to his participation in the Bhagat Singh Fan Club, a group where the suspects communicated.

The arrest of six individuals in the Parliament security lapse case has prompted swift action from the Delhi Police. The accused allegedly carried out the attack on December 13, releasing coloured smoke sticks within the Parliament building. This incident led to chaos and disruption, causing widespread concern.

The arrested suspects claim that issues like Manipur violence, unemployment, and farmer concerns were the driving forces behind their actions. The Delhi Police Special Cell continues to investigate the case, delving deeper into the circumstances surrounding the attack.

Among the arrested, Sagar Sharma and Manoj Ranjan D were apprehended inside Parliament, while Neelam Azad and Amol Shinde were arrested from outside the building.

The case’s alleged mastermind is Lalit Jha, and another suspect, Mahesh Kumawat, is accused of assisting Jha.
