Lalit Jha’s TMC Connection Emerges in Parliament Security Breach Case

New Delhi: In a shocking turn of events, Lalit Jha, a key accused in the Parliament security breach case, has been linked to Kolkata, further complicating the investigation. The Delhi Police has sought a seven-day remand for the four accused in the case, while Jha remains absconding.

According to reports, Jha had resided in Kolkata’s Bada Bazar area for a considerable period. During his stay, he engaged in teaching children. Coincidentally, the rioters involved in the Parliament incident had deposited their phones near the same area where Jha resided. Jha played a pivotal role in the incident, capturing a video of the entire commotion and subsequently fleeing the scene.

The video was later sent to Neelaksh Aich, an NGO operator based in Kolkata. Reacting to these developments, the Bengal BJP has made startling claims. State BJP president Sukanta Majumdar has alleged that Jha had close ties with Trinamool Congress leaders, citing a photograph of Jha with cabinet minister Tapas Roy as evidence.

“Lalit Jha, the mastermind behind the attack on our democracy’s temple, has been in touch with TMC leader Tapas Roy for an extended period. This evidence should be used to investigate the involvement of Trinamool leaders in the Parliament attack,” Majumdar asserted.

BJP leader Amit Malviya further escalated the issue, stating, “Lalit Jha’s TMC connection has come to light in the Parliament security lapse case. Viral images reveal his association with several TMC leaders. Individuals involved in this episode have links to the Congress, the CPI (Maoist), and now the TMC. Isn’t it clear that the desperate ‘India Alliance’ has targeted the Indian Parliament to weaken the current government?”

However, Dr. Shashi Panja, a minister in the West Bengal government, dismissed these claims as mere hypocrisy. She directed criticism towards Sukanta Majumdar, suggesting that he should question his own party colleague, BJP MP Pratap Simha, regarding the issuance of passes to the accused.

According to police investigations, the accused were affiliated with the Bhagat Singh Fan Club and harboured intentions to gain notoriety through their actions.

The ongoing probe into the Parliament security breach case has taken a complex turn with the emergence of Lalit Jha’s Kolkata connection. The investigation continues to unfold, and further revelations are anticipated as the Delhi Police seeks to unravel the depths of this intricate plot.
