Mumbai: Telugu actor Shreyas Talpade, who recently lent his voice to Allu Arjun in the blockbuster film Pushpa, suffered a heart attack on a film set in Mumbai. The 47-year-old actor collapsed on set after wrapping up shooting for the film Welcome to the Jungle, co-starring Akshay Kumar.
According to sources, Talpade had been in good health and had completed a full day of shooting without any apparent issues. After returning home, he complained of feeling unwell, and his wife rushed him to the hospital. Talpade was admitted to Bellevue Hospital in Andheri West, where he underwent angioplasty. His condition is currently stable, and he is under medical observation.
Talpade’s fans and colleagues expressed shock and concern when the news of his heart attack broke. The actor has a successful career spanning two decades, having starred in over 45 films in Hindi and Marathi cinema. Fans eagerly anticipate updates on Talpade’s health but there has been no official statement from his team regarding the incident.
