Raipur: The counting of votes for the Chhattisgarh Assembly elections is underway, and initial results suggest a nеck-and-nеck race between the Congress and the BJP. Both parties are currently leaving on 44 seats each.
However, the BJP appears to be gaining ground in the state, with several Congress ministers, including Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghеl, trailing behind in their electoral constituencies.
The Congress party is still confident of forming the government, but the BJP’s strong showing has cast doubt on their chances.
The final results of the election are expected to be announced later today.
In addition to Chhattisgarh, the BJP is also leading in the elections in the states of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. The party is held on 143 seats in Madhya Pradesh and 117 seats in Rajasthan.
The counting of votes is still ongoing in all three states, and the final results are expected to be announced later today.
