Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik In Bengaluru To Woo Investors

Bhubaneswar/Bengaluru: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik reached Bengaluru on Tuesday for the last investors’ meet ahead of the mega-industry carnival, ‘Make-in-Odisha conclave’ slated from November 30 to December 4 in the state.

According to sources, he will hold one-on-one interactions with potential investors in information technology (IT), IT-enabled services (ITeS), electronics, data centre, e-vehicle, pharma and aerospace sectors and address a meeting, highlighting the state government’s lucrative policies and recent relaxation in lease rentals of core space in the govt-designated IT towers.

While the government in April launched the State Data Centre Policy-2022, a dedicated cluster is also being developed near Bhubaneswar to facilitate investments in the IT, ITeS and electronics sectors.

The CM will return to Odisha the following day.

Earlier this month, Naveen attended an investors’ meet in Mumbai and interacted with industrialists like K M Birla, Anil Agarwal and Anand Mahindra, top bankers and financial wizards. On August 31, he attended the curtain-raiser of the third edition of the biennial event, in Delhi, and held discussions pertaining to investment in Odisha with envoys of different countries. This was the third investment roadshow after Dubai and Ahmedabad.
