New Delhi: With Congress losing a series of elections under his leadership, not many consider Rahul Gandhi to be a serious contender to be Narendra Modi’s successor.
But he rarely missed the chance to hit out at the ruling BJP on key issues.
In a scathing attack against the Narendra Modi government, Rahul said on Wednesday India’s petrol price, unemployment and communal violence graph ‘looks a lot like Sri Lanka’, and that the Centre should not try to distract people.
“Distracting people won’t change the facts. India looks a lot like Sri Lanka,” Rahul tweeted along with a graph comparing petrol price, unemployment and communal violence of the two countries.
