Sushant Wanted To Venture Into Virtual Reality Gaming, Reveals Friend Kushal Zaveri

Sushant Singh Rajput’s close friend Kushal Zaveri who worked with him in the TV industry and also stayed with him in Mumbai for nearly eight months till February 2019, told Republic TV on Sunday that the late actor aspired to venture into virtual reality gaming and future technology.

He wanted to start his own company with Varun Mathur. In fact, he did start a company called Inside Ventures with Mathur.

Zaveri also told Republic TV that Sushant had met his close friend Mahesh Shetty in May end and said he was looking forward to connecting with all of us saying that he was proud of the work we did in the past and we should continue doing it. “He was looking forward to doing something and did not sound depressed at all,” said Zaveri.

Quoting Mahesh Shetty, Zaveri revealed that Sushant had spoken to him about working together again on OTT since the theatres were shut due to COVID-19. He wanted to do a show with Mahesh too.

Besides, he had also spoken to Mahesh Taurani for a film. Sushant was also keen to work in Hollywood and was getting calls from managerial agents, Zaveri said.

Remembering Sushant, Zaveri told Republic TV, “He had an infectious energy and used to attract the right kind of people. He had an aura. He had clarity about his plans, ambitions, and dreams. He was like a role model for all of us in the TV industry.”

Recalling that he tried the get in touch with Sushant when he was hospitalised due to dengue, Zaveri said, “He did not answer my phone.” “I called Shruti Sood who neither answered my call nor replied to my text message. Then I got a call from Sushant in January but not from his number,” he added.

He also said that Sushant was in the habit of changing his number frequently. “The last time I got a message from him was on June 2,” Zaveri said.

Asked if Sushant was on medication when he lived in his house, Zaveri said, “No”.
