Man Dials 100 & Threatens To Harm PM, Arrested

New Delhi: Noida police on Tuesday arrested a 33-year-old man for dialling the emergency number 100 and threatening to harm Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The accused was identified as Harbhajan, a resident of Sector 66 in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

Additional DCP (Central Noida), Ankur Aggarwal informed that Harbhajan had made the threat call on the police emergency number, Times Now reported.

Following the call, the Noida Police launched a manhunt for the caller and nabbed him from Phase-3 Police Station area in Noida.

Harbhajan is being questioned by police and an investigation has been launched in the matter.

“Prima facie, he appears to be a drug addict. He has been sent for medical examination to ascertain other details,” Aggarwal added.
