Rhea Chakraborty Requests ED To Defer Her Questioning; Know What The Agency Said

Mumbai/New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday rejected Rhea Chakraborty’s request to postpone her questioning over two major property investments by her in Mumbai.

This is being investigated in the light of Sushant’s father’s complaint that money was siphoned off from his son’s accounts by his girlfriend Rhea.

The agency said that it would wait for her till 11.30 am and put out fresh summons if she didn’t show up, the NDTV reported.

“She has requested a postponement of the recording of her statement because of the Supreme Court hearing,” Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde said this morning.

Speaking to Republic TV on Thursday, Bihar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey expressed doubts over her appearing before the ED. “She is scared that she will be caught and arrested. Since the beginning, she has been a suspect. With the CBI beginning the probe, I am now confident that no one will be spared,” he had said.

Meanwhile, the CBI has named Rhea and her family members as accused in the FIR filed by it.
