New Delhi: The Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday decided to partially lift the lockdown measures for certain sectors from April 20. While agriculture, IT & ITes (50 per cent capacity), e-commerce, courier, banks, hotels that are accomodating stranded people, movement of non-essential cargo, construction and a few more services will be allowed, here’s a list of things that will remain closed:
- Trains, flights, public transportation services like bus, metro rail, autorickshaw, etc.
- Taxi and cab aggregators.
- Educational institutions.
- Religious places. In case of funerals, not more than 20 people will be allowed.
- All social, political, entertainment, cultural, academic activities.
- Cinema halls, malls, shopping complexes, gyms, sports complexes, swimming pools, bars will remain closed till May 3.
- Liquor, gutka and tobacco stores.
