New Delhi: Air India has decided to cancel several flights to major international destinations amid travel curbs on foreigner till April 15.
The national carrier has truncated its flight operations to Frankfurt, Paris, Madrid and Tel Aviv has been truncated from March 15-18 till April 28-30.
Besides, Air India also tweeted about curtailing its operations to Colombo and suspending operations to Kuwait till April 30, 2020.
Flight operations on Delhi-Seoul route has already been suspended till March 25 and Delhi-Rome and Delhi-Milan routes till March 28.
Flights to Shanghai were earlier cancelled from January 31 to February 14 and to Hong Kong from February 7 until March 28. The suspension of Delhi-Shanghai and Delhi-Hong Kong services was extended till June 30, last month.
To combat the Covid-19 pandemic, the government on Friday barred the entry of foreigners and kept on hold the visa-free facility granted to Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders.
