Xiaomi on Wednesday launched the new Mi Air Purifier 3, the successor to Mi Air Purifier 2S in India. This is Xiaomi’s 2nd air purifier launch this season. With most of north India gasping for clean air, the launch seems to be well timed.
The Mi Air Purifier 3 is priced at Rs 9,999. It is currently available on Mi.com, and will be available on Amazon India and Flipkart from November 7.
It has a primary filter, a true HEPA filter and an activated carbon filter. The primary filter traps large particles, PM 10 and above category. The true HEPA filter captures 99.97 per cent of small pollutants of PM2.5 size. The activated carbon filter can trap formaldehyde, toxic substances and bad odour in the air.
A replacement filter costs Rs 2,199.
The Mi Air Purifier 3 has a touch-enabled OLED display that shows AQI data in real-time. It has a CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) of 380 cubic meter per hour and can deliver 6,333 liters of purified air every minute with a coverage area of up to 484 square feet. Users can use the Mi Home app to monitor real-time AQI over the air.
Xiaomi’s other purifier Mi Air Purifier 2C is priced at Rs 6,499.
