New Delhi: The Centre on Thursday announced revised guidelines for international travellers, scrapping the mandatory seven-day home quarantine.

The Centre recommended 14 days’ self-monitoring by passengers and asked them to self-isolate in case they develop symptoms.

It also removed the ‘at-risk’ countries category, which was introduced at the beginning of the Omicron wave.

The new guidelines will come into effect from February 14, the Health Ministry said.
